Ridgefield, CT — This holiday season, a cherished Ridgefield tradition is growing bigger, brighter, and more community-focused than ever before. The beloved Founders Hall-iday Light Fight is evolving into the Founders Hall-iday Light Bright, an expanded month-long celebration designed to shine Twice As Bright through a joyful partnership between Founders Hall and the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield.
From December 5 through December 31, the Founders Hall-iday Light Bright will illuminate neighborhoods across town, expanding beyond its original week-long format and offering families even more time to enjoy the festive cheer. What began as a friendly competition is now a community-wide fundraiser supporting two organizations that enrich lives across generations, from youth to older adults, and strengthen the fabric of Ridgefield.
Community members are invited to jump in their cars, follow the Light Bright Route, and enjoy a curated trail of holiday-themed homes glowing with creativity and community spirit. The route provides a fun, family-friendly way to celebrate the season, make new memories, and share in the joy of giving back.
This year’s celebration also carries special meaning. The event continues in loving memory of Nancy Bossidy, who treasured the annual lights tradition, and also honors Larry Bossidy, whose combined generosity and community spirit touched countless lives. Their legacy embodies the 2024 theme, Twice As Bright.
Residents are encouraged to participate by decorating their homes and Ridgefield businesses becoming event sponsors. Participation is free, and sponsors will be featured in the digital program highlighting the Light Bright Route.
