DESCRIPTION:VOICES is offering a Community Preparedness workshop to provide individuals with strategies to prepare in advance of an emergency. The program includes an overview of the basic components on how to be better prepared for a variety of different types of emergencies.\nThe first 25 attendees will receive a Preparedness Backpack to help them take the first steps toward emergency readiness. The Preparedness backpacks were provided through a grant from 9/11 Day and AmeriCorps.\n
