Poetry. Good for the soul. Your soul. Good for the world. Our world. At the Friday gatherings, Ridgefield’s Poet Laureate, Ira Joe Fisher, will present and ponder – with you – three or four poems. We’ll see what makes the words bubble and fizz. And we’ll invite the poem into your mind and into your heart. A poem is sound, song, wisdom, delight. A poem affects you. From the page to the ear to the heart. To savor. To remember. You might just smile. And sigh.
Fall registrations are currently being processed as we finalize class sizes. Classes with available space remain open for registration.
When you register, you will first receive an email confirming that we received your registration. This does not yet mean you are officially enrolled.
We are reviewing registrations for each class. If a class exceeds capacity, all registrations received by the deadline will be entered into a lottery. Once the process is complete, you will receive a second email confirming the classes you have been enrolled in. If you are not selected for a class, we will contact you by phone.
This process may take a few days, and confirmations may arrive at different times as we work through each class.
