“I retired from the corporate world and was excited when I turned 60 and found out I could join! I have taken both language and art classes since I joined, and find them mentally stimulating.”
-Tom
“The classes you offer are superb! I can’t believe my good fortune to have moved here from a lifetime in Wisconsin… I can’t thank you enough.”

giving
Annual Giving
Your gift – at any level – is vital support that furthers the important mission of Founders Hall. Annual gifts help us connect seniors with the subjects, places and people that inspire them.
Monthly Giving
Founders Hall sets an annual budget, and monthly donors help us meet our goals by providing reliable support throughout the year. Monthly donors can choose to opt out of annual appeal letters. Each January, we send a thank you letter and annual receipt. You can update or cancel anytime.
legacy

A Founders Circle legacy gift helps secure Founders Hall’s future by supporting our facility, expanding programming, and launching new initiatives. A bequest costs nothing now, can be adjusted anytime, and makes a lasting impact. Members receive special recognition and invitations, unless they prefer to remain anonymous. Together, we can ensure Founders Hall continues to thrive for generations to come.
Gift of Required Minimum Distribution (RMD)
The Internal Revenue Service requires minimum distributions at age 73 from tax-deferred retirement accounts, such as IRA, 401(k), and 403(b). By gifting all or part of your RMD to Founders Hall through a direct transfer from your retirement account custodian, you can satisfy your RMD without affecting your income, which may lower your taxable income. Your trusted financial advisor can provide advice specific to your unique situation.
Tribute Gifts
When making your gift, you may indicate if it is in honor of or in memory of someone special. Some Founders Hall donors honor or memorialize friends, family, Founders Hall members or staff. A special list of the honorees’ names will scroll digitally in our foyer, thus acknowledging these touching tribute gifts.
Matching Gifts
Some companies match or even double the gifts made by their employees and/or retirees to charities. This is a wonderful way to increase your impact on the mission of Founders Hall. Usually the employee/retiree has to fill out a form provided by the company and give it to Stephanie Campbell, Director of Philanthropy. Ask your company’s human resources department about matching gifts today.
